…. that make me feel like the luckiest guy alive.
Today was a day for stopping to smell the flowers, or in my case check out the sea around me.
Took time out from my reps and preps (repairs and preparations) to take a swim and have a look underneath the water line.
The sea was pure aqua, warm and inviting.
As I went over the side a school of small fish came over to investigate what I was up to and their bold approach seemed to say “is there anything for us to eat?”.
Completely unafraid they swam around me as I cleaned some small patches of weed from a couple of places on the hull.
Just beautiful. All my cares and dramas of yesterday melted away in the warm semi tropical sun drenched scene.
For the first time in a number of days I felt myself relax completely and take in the beauty that surrounds me.
Wish you were here!
Hi Col,
We are at Longreach Bay enjoying the weather. Dived for crays this morning and caught one undersized that was released.
Southerlys will persist for a few days so I would stay put and relax.
Cheers,
Antony
